Pre-Sale Estimates

Pre-sale auction estimates are a guide for prospective buyers. In our opinion, any bid between the high and low pre-sale estimate would offer a chance of success. However, items may sell for prices above or below the pre-sale estimate. It is advisable to check the pre-sale estimate prior to submission of a bid as estimates may be subject to revision. Please note that the estimates do not include the buyer’s premium, overhead premium, or any other fees.

Condition of Items

All auction items are offered for sale in the condition which they are in at the time of sale. Prospective buyers are encouraged to inspect the auction items at the Preview. As a convenience, we may also provide condition reports. Any online images of the items are part of a condition report. Any reference to condition in the online sale information will not amount to a full description of the condition. It is important to note that the absence of reference to the condition of an items in the catalogue description does not imply that the item is in good condition, working order, free from faults, imperfections, restorations, or repairs.

Buyer's Premium

A buyer’s premium and overhead premium will be added to the hammer price and are payable by the buyer as part of the total purchase price.
